“Silhouette of the Sun”; is the story of several generations of women—Constance, Anna and Page—and their lives and loves. Avery Davis has given us much more than a love story in her debut novel; she has woven together a tale of love and loss and the pursuit of independence. She has done a fantastic job of taking readers on a journey through the lives of three incredibly strong, but sometimes broken women, searching for that elusive thing that makes life…life. Time goes on and Constance becomes Anna who becomes Page, and each woman struggles to find herself and sacrifices something for the greater good"
"The author has written a genuine story that is definitely one that will touch reader's hearts and minds. I will never forget the description of how cancer had whittled the character's body down to a formless twig. That kind of imagery stays with a reader."

"I have yet to read anything that has touched my heart like “Silhouette of the Sun” by Avery Davis. This is a beautiful love story between generations of mother and daughter and a husband and his wife."
